Every year, the team at The Exodus Group Collective Foundation looks forward to one special event that brings our mission and community together: The Great Excape. On October 25, 2025, we held our third annual adventure at the breathtaking Arabia Mountain—and what a day it was! We’re excited to revisit the highlights, celebrate our success, share some inspiring photos, and invite you to join us on the journey ahead.
What is the Great Excape?
The Great Excape is more than just an outdoor adventure. It’s a testament to community, empowerment, and the collective spirit of giving. Every year, our supporters and friends come together for a day of hiking, camaraderie, and purpose—all to raise essential funds for the programs that drive our mission at The Exodus Group Collective Foundation.
Event Highlights
Gathering at Arabia Mountain
Nestled just east of Stone Mountain, Arabia Mountain provided the perfect backdrop for our event. Twenty-five participants gathered under blue skies, ready for a day of exploration, connection, and impact. The location’s natural beauty was both inspiring and symbolic—reminding us how much we can accomplish when we strive together.
The Journey Together
Our event kicked off with a group warm-up led by our volunteer trainers, followed by a guided hike across the scenic trails of Arabia Mountain. Along the way, participants enjoyed:
Team-building games that brought out lots of laughs and new friendships
Reflective moments where we discussed our mission and shared personal stories of empowerment
Shared meals and snacks that fueled us for the journey, all prepared with care by local supporters
Impact: Funds Raised
Thanks to the generosity and drive of our 25 hikers and supporters, we raised $1,130! These funds will go directly into our core initiatives—education, mentorship, and access to vital resources for marginalized communities in and around Stone Mountain, Georgia.
